CU Boulder Green Labs is hiring a new FTE whose role will be to collaborate with engaged laboratory departments to open-up researcher and student access to existing campus laboratory equipment by increasing resource sharing. This position will also manage the resources (including organizing access, coordinating repairs/upkeep of equipment, promoting the availability of the resources, and training new users).

Get Involved in the Shut the Sash Challenge
The International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL) is planning for the next iteration of the Fume Hood Shut the Sash Challenge. This initiative encourages best practices in fume hood use, management, and optimization to enhance safety and minimize energy waste. We are looking for passionate individuals who are interested in shaping the future of the competition to join the committee organizing it! If you’re interested, please sign up here. Kevin Tu, from the University of Maryland will lead monthly meetings on the first Friday of the month at 1:00 p.m. Eastern.
The Shut the Sash committee is also seeking ideas for short articles and best practice guides on efficient fume hood operation, shut the sash education, and good hood management.
